First Day of School!

6th Grade!!

I can't believe it, 6th grade!!!! WOW how time flies, it feels just like yesterday he was in kindergarten. I walked with the kids to school this morning and it made me sad, Josh doesn't need me to help him find his class or wait for the teacher's to come out anymore. I brought my camera to take pictures, but Josh is too cool now to take pictures at school:(

3rd Grade!

Ryan on the other hand still wants my help. I don't know if he needs it? He also wanted me to take plenty of pictures. He's my big 3rd grader.

Happy Pioneer Day

To celebrate the 24th we went to Liberty park to watch the fire works. This year it was our family, minus Nathan he had to work, and Brandy's family. We always go to the small park across the street, that's where they light them off. It's the best view!

Over nighter at Brandy's property/ Starvation

This weekend we went up to Brandy's property and stayed over night. (She has property by starvation. We leave our trailer up there.) It was kinda fast planing we didn't know if we were going to go or not. We got up there on Saturday around 4:00pm it was so hot we got our trailer situated and headed straight for the lake. The kids played in the water and the sand. The they built a bunch of sand castles with a river going around them. They decided to take turns throwing rocks at them to see who could knock down who's first. Well that turned into a HUGE mud fight!! We were laughing so hard. Eliott stopped but Josh kept at it, against Ryan and the younger kids. Josh started to get mad because everyone was against him.

MUD FIGHT!!!!!

Hangin' out around the fire

By the second day everyone was so freakin ornery (I was the worst of all)!
here's a picture of all the ornery kids

FYI: For all of you that are coming up in August, Bring bug spray! LOTS and LOTS of bug spray!!! We went through two bottles just over night, and we still got eatin alive. The mesquitos were out all day, not dusk to dawn.

A Fun Day at Deer Creek

Today our family, Brandy & Richards family, and Charity & Steve's family spent the day at the lake. It was nice just to hang out and not have any plans. We stayed there about five hours, packed a lunch and let the kids play. Poor Eliott wasn't feeling to well but he still tried hard to have fun. The kids had a lot of fun swimming, even though the water was a little cold. They brought sand toys to play with, but there wasn't any sand so they made the best out of digging the rocks.

Provo River

Today we went tubin' down Provo River. When we got there the shuttle driver told us the river was calm, it didn't look calm to me (I'd hate to see it on a rough day). When we got on our tube I was thinking I hope I don't fall off because I won't be able to get back on. We all tried to hook together, we looked back and Richard wasn't with us. I was trying to paddle me and Brandy back to him we hit a rapped, and guess what happened? I fell off. The river was going fast at that point, I couldn't get back on. I was trying to get over to the bank, it was so rough on my feet. (they're bruised now). I finally got back on, did I mention I was pulling brandy along with me the whole time. I didn't want to be alone. After that I was kinda scared. Up the way a little everyone pulled over on an island and waited for everyone to catch up.

We ran into a ton of trees, rocks, and sticks. By about half way down I started getting the hang on paddling and turning my tube. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to go down, it was so much fun!!! I wanna do it again!!

Here's where we took a break on keystone Island!
